🥘 Homemade Country Bean Bake
Ingredients:
• 3 cans (15 oz each) pork & beans or baked beans, undrained
• ½ cup ketchup
• ¼ cup packed brown sugar
• 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
• 4 slices bacon or salt pork, chopped
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease an 8×8-inch baking dish.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the beans, ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard. Stir until everything is evenly blended.
Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it into an even layer.
Scatter the chopped bacon or salt pork across the top.
Bake uncovered for 45–55 minutes, until hot and bubbling with a nicely browned topping.
