Cottage cheese16 ounces
Sour cream1 cup
Butter, melted2 tablespoons
Grated Parmesan cheese½ cup, or as desired

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Oven

Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) and allow it to fully preheat while you prepare the ingredients.

Step 2: Cook the Pasta and Beef

Boil the spaghetti according to the package instructions until tender. Drain thoroughly, then toss the noodles with the melted butter and season lightly with salt and pepper.

Meanwhile, cook the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat until browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess grease.

Step 3: Prepare the Filling and Sauce

Add the spaghetti sauce to the cooked beef and stir until evenly combined.

In a separate mixing bowl, blend the cream cheese, cottage cheese, and sour cream until smooth and creamy.

Step 4: Layer the Casserole

Arrange half of the buttered spaghetti in the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish.

Spread the cheese mixture evenly over the noodles.

Top with the remaining spaghetti, then cover with the beef and sauce mixture, spreading it evenly across the surface.

Step 5: Bake

Place the casserole in the oven and bake for 30 minutes.

Remove from the oven, sprinkle the Parmesan cheese over the top, and return to bake for another 15 minutes, or until hot, bubbly, and lightly golden.

Allow the casserole to rest for a few minutes before serving.

Serving Suggestion

Serve warm with garlic bread, a crisp green salad, or roasted vegetables for a complete and comforting meal.
