Tender ribeye steaks paired with a silky garlic cream sauce make this dish feel restaurant-worthy while still being simple enough for a home dinner. The sauce is prepared in the same skillet used for searing the steaks, capturing all the rich flavor left behind in the pan for an extra savory finish.

Step 1: Prepare the Steaks

Take the ribeye steaks out of the refrigerator about 30 minutes before cooking so they can come closer to room temperature.

Pat them dry thoroughly with paper towels, then season both sides generously with salt and freshly cracked black pepper.


Step 2: Sear the Steaks

Place a heavy skillet or cast-iron pan over medium-high heat.

Add the olive oil along with 1 tablespoon of butter. Once the pan is hot, place the steaks carefully into the skillet.

Cook for about 4–5 minutes per side for medium-rare, adjusting the cooking time based on your preferred doneness.

Once seared, transfer the steaks to a plate.


Step 3: Let the Steaks Rest

Cover the steaks loosely with foil and allow them to rest for 5–10 minutes. This helps keep the meat juicy while the sauce is prepared.


Step 4: Make the Garlic Cream Sauce

Reduce the heat to medium and add the remaining butter to the same pan.

Stir in the minced garlic and cook briefly until fragrant, about 30 seconds.

Pour in the beef broth and scrape the bottom of the skillet to loosen all the flavorful browned bits.

Add the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning. Stir well and let the sauce simmer gently until thickened and smooth.


Step 5: Finish the Dish

Return the rested steaks to the skillet.

Spoon the creamy garlic sauce over the top and let the steaks warm through for another minute or two so they absorb extra flavor.


Step 6: Serve

Transfer the steaks to serving plates and drizzle generously with the sauce.

Top with fresh parsley and serve immediately while hot.
