Cinnamon Donut Bread
Ingredients:
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup whole milk
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
Topping:
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each, then stir in the vanilla extract.
Pour in the milk and mix until smooth.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
Mix the topping ingredients and sprinkle evenly over the batter.
Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Let the bread cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
