Sausage Breakfast Muffins
| Ingredient | Quantity |
|---|---|
| Breakfast sausage | 1 pound |
| Bisquick baking mix | 1 cup |
| Shredded sharp cheddar cheese | 1 cup |
| Eggs | 4 |
Instructions
Preheat and Prepare the Pan
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 12-cup muffin pan or line it with muffin liners to prevent sticking and make removal easier.
Cook the Sausage
Brown the breakfast sausage in a skillet over medium heat, breaking it into crumbles as it cooks. This should take about 5–7 minutes. Once fully cooked, remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
Mix the Batter
In a large bowl, combine the cooked sausage, Bisquick mix, shredded cheddar cheese, and eggs. Stir until everything is evenly blended into a thick mixture.
Fill the Muffin Cups
Divide the mixture evenly among the prepared muffin cups, filling each about two-thirds full to allow room for rising.
Bake
Place the muffin tin in the oven and bake for about 20 minutes, or until the tops are golden and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cool and Serve
Let the muffins cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack. Serve warm or at room temperature.
