Easy Holiday Pecan Bites
These delightful pecan bites are a simple, sweet addition to any holiday dessert spread. Made with buttery pecans and a touch of brown sugar substitute, they bake into delicious little treats with rich, nutty flavor and lightly caramelized edges. With only three ingredients and minimal preparation, they’re perfect for Thanksgiving, Christmas gatherings, or whenever you’re craving a quick homemade dessert.
Arrange them on a festive platter and serve alongside coffee or tea. For an extra-special presentation, pair them with whipped cream, fresh berries, or a little dark chocolate. Their small size makes them ideal for sharing, especially after a hearty holiday meal.
Ingredients
- 1½ cups pecan halves
- 4 tablespoons butter, melted
- ⅓ cup brown sugar substitute
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Prepare the oven and pan
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a mini muffin pan to help prevent the pecan bites from sticking after baking.
2. Coat the pecans
Place the pecan halves in a medium mixing bowl. Add the melted butter and brown sugar substitute, stirring until the pecans are evenly coated in the buttery mixture.
3. Fill the muffin cups
Divide the coated pecans evenly among the prepared mini muffin cups. Gently press the mixture into each cup to create compact, bite-sized portions.
4. Bake until golden
Bake for 10–12 minutes, watching carefully as the edges begin to bubble and caramelize. Remove the pan from the oven once the pecans are fragrant and the mixture looks lightly browned.
5. Cool and serve
Allow the pecan bites to cool in the pan for several minutes before carefully loosening and removing them. Serve slightly warm or at room temperature for a delicious, nutty holiday treat.
